Wills & Executries

Dealing with the estate of a loved one can often be a difficult, distressing and complex task, particularly during times of grief. Our friendly staff can help you through this with professional and friendly advice and assistance at reasonable rates.

Often sorting out a deceased's person's estate is made more stressful by the fact that they did not leave a will, and yet making a will is usually an easy and straightforward task.

Making a will is strongly advised if you want peace of mind that your wishes in respect of your property and savings will be carried out after your death. We have experience in preparing wills tailor-made to suit your needs and wishes. At a relatively low cost, you can be safe in the knowledge that a professionally-prepared will should avoid any unnecessary disputes after your death.

Having your Will written professionally can give you great peace of mind. Each November, you can use a local solicitor who has signed up to Will Aid and you can enjoy the added feel-good factor of supporting nine leading UK charities. Instead of paying your solicitor’s fee, you will be invited to make a donation to charity. The suggested voluntary donation is £95 for a basic Will or £150 for a pair of basic mirror Wills.

The next campaign will be in November 2015

Why do I need a Will?   How do I make a Will?

Quite simply, if you do not have a Will you cannot be sure that your loved ones are provided for after your death. You may also leave them the stress of coping with legal complications   Although it is possible to write a Will by yourself, it is highly advisable to use a solicitor to make sure that your Will is valid and that it properly reflects your wishes.

You can also contact us at any time and we can guide you through the entire process as well.
